EXECUTIVE
HEALTH
Starting in June of 2001 Vernon Urgent
Care will be launching Executive Health Care. This exam is not for everyone
since many insurance companies will not reimburse for it. The idea is
to implement cutting edge diagnostic tools years before they are implemented
to the general population on a routine basis. These new tests may not
be cost effective for society at large, since their role in detecting
and preventing illness is yet to be established. At one time, mammography,
PSA, and stress tests were not considered cost effective; today they
are an integral part of all physical exams.
Components of the Executive Exam:
- Eye exams
